Highlights more than 80 different types of files while you're typing; HTML, XML, Objective-C, C++, PHP, Perl, Python, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, Tex, shell scripts, and many more. You can even use your own TextMate-compatible syntax definitions.

Textastic's code editor is written from the ground up using native iOS APIs like Core Text. Particularly evident during interactive search, the text editor is quick and responsive.

Touch & Type

Additional keys above the virtual keyboard make it easy to enter code. Tapping on the editor with two fingers brings up a cursor navigation wheel that simplifies text selection. Code completion for HTML and CSS. External keyboards are fully supported.

Connective

Connect to FTP, SFTP and WebDAV servers and to your Dropbox account, use the built-in WebDAV server to easily transfer files from your Mac or PC. iTunes files sharing, emailing and "open in" for opening email attachments and transfering files to other apps are supported too.
